Inert’s Butyl gloves for use in glove boxes are made of a Butyl layer. The elastomer is an isoprene/isobutylene copolymer rubber. Butyl, with its low permeability to gas and resistance to chemical products, permits utilisation in toxic liquid up to 5 hours.
