Description
Static high pressure reactors are equipped with a range of UHV ports of various standard sizes. They are designed typically for base pressures lower than 1×10-8 mbar. Reactors with cooling and heating options can work from negative temperatures up to 650°C. The heating and cooling facilities are controlled by the HEAT3-PS temperature controller and the temperatures depend upon the individual sample holder specifications. The transferrable sample holder is introduced through the transfer flange and stored in the sample holder receiving station.
Options
- Coldfinger for sample holder cooling
- Laser heating for fast sample heating up to 900°C
- Back pressure regulator – needed in case of experiments from 2 – 20 bar in flow mode. A dedicated gas manifold with proper flowmeters required heated outlet for the gases
- Temperature control software (HEAT3-PS dedicated software) – full software control of temperature, ramp rate and output power
- Reactor ready to work with CO and H2S (on request)
- An additional measuring equipment – for example, UMS to conduct spectrography and chromatography of the gas which is flowing out from the reactor
