Mirror/gratings System Manipulators
Multi-axes, precise manipulators determining the correct direction of the synchrotron beam. Vacuum mirror chambers are situated along the synchrotron beamline. Mirrors are located inside the chamber and mounted on a vibration-isolated special holder which is moved using a multi-axis manipulator in order to determine the correct direction of the beam.
A vertical wedge stage is a type of very rigid, motorised vertical axis manipulator, that can be used for e.g. positioning the grating chamber.
