Sub-Hertz Vibration Control

Table Stable have developed unique active isolation technology, capable of providing sub-hertz vibration isolation (starting at 0.5 Hz) in six degrees of movement. Using a combination of piezoelectric sensors, actuators, and control electronics, Table Stable’s vibration isolators can maximise the performance of SEMs, AFMs and other sensitive instruments. Multiple form factors are available, including plug-and-lay desktop platforms, and modular systems for larger equipment.

Active Isolation for High Performance

The active isolation technology developed by Table Stable isolates vibrations in all six rotational and translational modes of vibration. Table Stable is the industry leader in low-frequency isolation, able to provide active isolation from 0.5 Hz to 200 Hz, and passive isolation beyond 200 Hz.

The active isolation technology also improves performance between 0 – 5 Hz over a passive system, as there is no low frequency resonance.

TS Series Active Vibration Isolation Tables

Table Stable’s TS Series are plug-and-play vibration isolation tables provide industry-lead isolation in a compact and easy to use form factor. The TS Series builds Table Stable’s active isolation technology into a desktop vibration platform, available in a range of sizes. Fully automated bed levelling and load adjustment means there no complicated installation is necessary. An LCD display shows real-time vibration levels and performance data.

TS-C Series Compact Active Vibration Isolation Tables

For smaller instruments, Table Stable have recently designed the TS C series of compact vibration tables. The TS-C series utilises the same advanced active vibration isolation technology, but features a smaller size, lower weight, lower power consumption, and simplified design. Effective Isolation is provided against all six translational and rotational vibration modes. Ideally suited for compact AFM, STM and interferometry instruments.

AVI Series Modular Active Vibration Isolators

For large instruments or custom isolation requirements, Table Stable provide the TS series of modular active vibration isolators. Built with Table Stable’s industry-leading active isolation technology, the AVI series can provide isolation for room-scale instruments up to 9000 kg in weight. The AVI isolators feature a low-profile design ease installation, and require no persistent maintenance. Isolators are available in a range of sizes and load capacities to suit any application.

LFS-3 Low Frequency Sensor

The TS and AVI series of active vibration isolators can achieve improved low frequency isolation with the addition of the LFS-3 Low Frequency Sensor. The LFS sensor is located directly on the floor, and is used in a feed forward loop connected to the TS or AVI electronics system. Low frequency vibrations as low as 0.2Hz can be measured in horizontal and vertical accelerations in 3 directions.

The LFS-3 can be supplied tougher with new TS or AVI installations, or retrofitted to existing TS or AVI isolation systems to upgrade low-frequency performance where required.
